All Paleo Spirit Plan clients can access journaling functions in Practice Better:

  1. Food and Mood Journal
  2. Lifestyle Journal
  3. Hydration/Fluids Tracking

Let’s take a closer look at 1) Food and Mood Journal and 2) Lifestyle Journal

1) FOOD AND MOOD JOURNAL

Tracking nutrition in Practice Better is easy.

The “Food and Mood Journal” has a food database that includes 600,000+ food and beverages, including 140,000+ restaurant items. It even provides macro and detailed micronutrient information. Just enter your food and the macros and nutrients are automatically calculated and logged.

You can drill down into the Mood Journal to log how you feel before and after eating. This can help you identify reactions to various foods and patterns of eating.

Nutrition

Every Paleo Spirit Plan client has access to basic functionality of Practice Better, including “Nutrition”.

The Nutrition dropdown is where you find the food database. Search for a specific food item here to add to your journal for tracking macros, calories and micronutrients.

“My Foods” allows you to add your own specific food items.

Add your own unique recipes to the database.

Advance Nutritional Support: Optional Ad-On

Clients in the full-service coaching program “The Total Metabolic Transformation” have the option to purchase Advanced Nutrition Support. This customized meal planning service offers tailored recipes designed to meet your specific daily calorie and macronutrient requirements. Each meal plan is carefully personalized to accommodate any allergies, intolerances, and dietary preferences. This ensures a truly individualized approach to your nutrition.

2) LIFESTYLE JOURNAL

In addition to the “Food and Mood Journal” and nutrition tracking and planning, Practice Better offers a Lifestyle Journal. Easily track multiple lifestyle factors: Activity, Measurements, Mood, Bowel Movements and Sleep. You have the option add notes to each one.

Tracking lifestyle factors lets you better understand the progress you make over the course of each of the programs.

Let’s take a closer look at one of the Lifestyle factors you can track. When logging “Activity”, the Practice Better app will automatically assign a rough estimate of calories burned. You can add your own notes.

Link a wearable device to automatically track activity and sleep. Here’s the interface where you choose your tracking device to sync with Practice Better.
